How to
Register Reach Out Conference: Reach Out is a unique experience for adults (18 and older) with developmental disabilities. Campers have the chance to be part of a supportive community while having the time of their lives swimming, creating crafts, singing, and showing off at the talent show. A high ratio of staff and volunteers help ensure a safe and rewarding experience. A supplemental application is required for this conference. You may print a copy of this form from our web site or we will mail you one.
One to Won Conference: This new program offers 7th-12th grade campers with developmental disabilities the opportunity to spend a weekend at summer camp. Campers will gain confidence, challenge themselves, and try exciting activities with their buddies in a sister program. One to Won Buddies are 9th-12th grade students who have signed up to live alongside and partner with the One to Won Campers as they participate in camp activities together. A high ratio of staff and volunteers helps ensure a safe and rewarding experience. A supplemental application is required for this conference. You may print a copy of this form from our web site or we will mail you one. **In order to create a safe place, free of distractions, campers with disabilities must be able to communicate their basic wants and needs, maintain their own hygiene or bathroom needs, and be able to speak to peers and adults appropriately.
Volunteering
Opportunity: Volunteers work hand in hand with
trained Cedarkirk Staff members in every aspect of the Reach Out Conference
– without them the
Reach Out program would not be possible. Volunteering with Reach Out is
one of the most powerful
and rewarding experiences Cedarkirk has to offer. Discover a new level in spiritual and emotional understanding
while serving God's children. If you are over 18 and interested in working
as volunteer staff for Reach Out, contact Mark Orendorf, Associate Director at 813-685-4224, Ext. 2. Ready to Sign Up? Click Here to Register!
