How to
Register Middle School Conference: Good times and great memories will be made during a Cedarkirk conference. Imagine yourself paddling down the river, hanging out with friends, swinging through the trees on the zip line, and roasting marshmallows under the starry sky. Small groups discuss issues that matter to them, laugh a lot, learn about God, and accept one another for who they are. The air-conditioned facilities will be your home for the week as you discover more about God, the members of your group and yourself.
Middle School & High School Music, Arts, and Drama Camp: Music, Arts, and Drama campers will have the chance to explore their creative side at camp, taking time each day to discover different aspects of the creative arts. Drama improvisation, a variety of artistic disciplines, and praise and worship are only a few of the exciting possibilities this summer. While living in air-conditioned facilities, you will have a chance to experience some of your favorite Cedarkirk activities: canoeing, zip lining, kayaking, campfires, and swimming.
Mid-High Adventure: Excitement. Nature. Fun. If you are looking for a true camping experience, this camp is for you. Plot a path with a compass, take an adventurous trip down the river, sing around the campfire, and challenge yourself on the high ropes course. Living in the cabins or platform tents, there will be lots of adventure and challenges to overcome as you set up camp, cook over an open fire, and sleep under the stars. Don’t worry – we know what you love: you’ll still have time for the pool, group games, worship, tubing, and fun with friends.
The Fantastic Voyage: If you are looking for the ultimate in adventure and outdoor exploration, look no further! This adventure race-style camp offers our middle school campers the opportunity to experience camp activities and other puzzles and challenges linked together in a series of exciting pursuits. Groups will work together to complete tasks, gather clues, solve problems, and surmount obstacles as they paddle, climb, float, hike, and play on and around Cedarkirk’s property. Mornings and afternoons will be fast-paced and tons of fun, but there will be plenty of time to relax after dinner with camp-wide activities, group worships, and your favorite campfire snacks! Fantastic Voyage campers will stay in the rustic cabins.
Night Owl Camp: Is your idea of the perfect summer day to stay up late every night and sleep in each morning? This camp caters to your laidback lifestyle. In this camp you’ll sleep late, have breakfast around lunch, enjoy lunch at dinner, and cook out a delicious dinner each night with your group. During the daylight hours you’ll participate in your favorite camp activities, but as the rest of camp heads to bed, Night Owl campers will be kicking off special night activities. When you do finally get to bed, you’ll sleep comfortably in air-conditioned buildings.
Culinary Camp: Spend a week exploring where our food comes from, how local growers are cultivating it sustainably, and how to make delicious treats for your friends! Don't worry - you'll also have plenty of time for camp activities, worship, and down time with your group.
Helping Hands Service Camp: Are you looking to really make a difference in people’s lives and learn more about God’s call to mission? This camp invites Middle School and High School campers to explore the little and big ways in which we can serve God in the world around us. Campers will get to enjoy traditional Cedarkirk activities as well as a special mission project each day. These projects will range from improvements at camp to traveling off-site to explore the needs of the communities around us. Campers will receive service hours for their help. Let’s join together in fun and service to further God’s kingdom!
The Source: Come join us as we dive into an exciting week of water-related explorations! In addition to traditional camp activities, part of each day will be spent exploring the source of our water supply, how our actions affect our sources of water, and what God - the Source of everything - has to say about water. During the week we will play in and learn about the waters that fill the Alafia River, have a behind-the-scenes tour and overnight experience at the Florida Aquarium, and take a beach trip with worship at sunset. These campers will stay in air-conditioned facilities.
