Register Click here for Info about Senior High Leadership (SHL) Extreme Camp: Are you ready for Extreme Camp? This camp is the most adventurous that Cedarkirk offers. Including overnight campouts off-site, kayaking through Fort DeSoto’s lush mangroves, hiking through Florida’s tropical beauty, and challenging yourself on the high ropes course, this camp has it all. At Cedarkirk, campers will stay in the rustic cabins or platform tents and experience all the adventure activities - zip line, climbing wall, and cookouts - that camp has to offer. Come join us for what what may be your best week of the summer!
Mid-High Adventure Camp: Excitement. Nature. Fun. If you are looking for a true camping experience, this camp is for you. Plot a path with a compass, take an adventurous trip down the river, sing around the campfire, and challenge yourself on the high ropes course. Living in the cabins or platform tents, there will be lots of adventure and challenges to overcome as you set up camp, cook over an open fire, and sleep under the stars. Don’t worry – we know what you love: you’ll still have time for the pool, group games, worship, tubing, and fun with friends.
Night Owl Camp: Is your idea of the perfect summer day to stay up late every night and sleep in each morning? This camp caters to your laidback lifestyle. In this camp you’ll sleep late, have breakfast around lunch, enjoy lunch at dinner, and cook out a delicious dinner each night with your group. During the daylight hours you’ll participate in your favorite camp activities, but as the rest of camp heads to bed, Night Owl campers will be kicking off special night activities. When you do finally get to bed, you’ll sleep comfortably in air-conditioned buildings.
Culinary Camp: Spend a week exploring where our food comes from, how local growers are cultivating it sustainably, and how to make delicious treats for your friends! Don't worry - you'll also have plenty of time for camp activities, worship, and down time with your group.
Mid-High and Senior High Music, Arts, and Drama Camp: Music, Arts, and Drama campers will have the chance to explore their creative side at camp, taking time each day to discover different aspects of the creative arts. Drama improvisation, a variety of artistic disciplines, and praise and worship are only a few of the exciting possibilities this summer. While living in air-conditioned facilities, you will have a chance to experience some of your favorite Cedarkirk activities: canoeing, zip lining, kayaking, campfires, and swimming.
The Source: Come join us as we dive into an exciting week of water-related explorations! In addition to traditional camp activities, part of each day will be spent exploring the source of our water supply, how our actions affect our sources of water, and what God - the source of everything - has to say about water. During the week we will play in and learn about the waters that fill the Alafia River, have a behind-the-scenes tour and overnight experience at the Florida Aquarium, and take a beach trip, with worship at sunset. These campers will stay in air-conditioned facilities.
Helping Hands Service Camp: Are you looking to really make a difference in people’s lives and learn more about God’s call to mission? This camp invites Middle School and High School campers to explore the little and big ways in which we can serve God in the world around us. Campers will get to enjoy traditional Cedarkirk activities as well as a special mission project each day. These projects will range from improvements at camp to traveling off-site to explore the needs of the communities around us. Campers will receive service hours for their help. Let’s join together in fun and service to further God’s kingdom!
Magical Mystery Tour: Do you like surprises? This exciting camp offers our oldest campers the chance to be surprised every day. Here are some clues: the activities might be at camp or off-site; they might be indoor or they might be outdoor. Too vague? That’s the magic of the tour. The mystery of the unknown allows you to bond with friends as you stay in the moment and let tomorrow bring what tomorrow brings. When necessary, we will let you know what type of clothes to wear and when to get up for the day. Other than that, there are no clues. The bus for this tour may fill up fast so sign up early for a phenomenal experience!
